Fall is in the air

Last fall Katie and I made these festive fall garlands during one of our craft nights. This year Elsie posted a tutorial on making them. Guess we were ahead of times in figuring out how to make them ourselves!

When it's cold outside, don't you just want to nestle in front of the fireplace? Makes me want to read a good book, sip some tea and cuddle with the husband. So perfect for cold autumn days.

What I'm making: No bake energy bited

I was first introduced to these at Bible Study a couple weeks ago. They are easy to make, tasty, healthy and filling. The husband likes them too which is a plus since he can have a very choice taste when it comes to foods.

They're perfect for a little afternoon snack to hold you over until dinner or to have in the morning with coffee or tea. And they keep which is nice. Here's the recipe!

Love my husband

Dear Husband,
All I want to do all day, everyday, is ride bikes with you around our little town. We can check the waves and stop by Farmer's Market to buy artichokes. And of course we can stop by for some tart flavored fro-yo topped with fruity pebbles, your favorite. It would remind me of our first date when you took me on a bike ride to get bubble tea. I don't like to use the word too often, but this would make for a PERFECT day.

Lobster season started on Saturday and the husband was out diving right as soon as it struck midnight! He caught two and we had them for dinner... mmm! What a treat!
